Brotherhood & Becoming: A Virtual Gathering for Black Trans Men & Masc Folx

10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST • Virtual (Google Meet) Virtual

A Virtual Gathering for Black Trans Men & Masc Folx Rooted in Reflection, Care & Collective Liberation. Brotherhood & Becoming is a virtual, stay-at-home gathering created for Black trans men and masc folx across the globe to come together in reflection, fellowship, healing, and collective care. Held in honor of Transmasculine Visibility Day, this gathering centers brotherhood not as performance, but as practice — a shared commitment to being present with one another, telling the truth about our lives, and affirming each other’s becoming. This space is designed to support deep conversation, mutual uplift, and collective imagination. Participants are invited to arrive as they are — whether rested or tired, grounded or searching — and to engage in ways that feel supportive and accessible. The gathering will include: - A keynote reflection by a Kits Blanc, grounded in curiosity, imagination, and lived experience - Facilitated breakout spaces for conversation, reflection, and connection - Time for collective dialogue, affirmation, and brotherhood This is not a conference and not a performance space. Cameras may be on or off. Sharing is always optional. Listening, resting, and quiet presence are welcome forms of participation. Hosting this gathering virtually allows us to reach Black trans men and masc folx who may be navigating barriers related to travel, caregiving, health, disability, time zones, or safety. This stay-at-home format reflects our commitment to accessibility, care, and widening the circle. Brotherhood & Becoming is a space to be seen without spectacle, held without explanation, and supported in community.

Sacred Ink Writing Circle: Black Love as Resistance

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST • Virtual (Google Meet) Virtual

**Sacred Ink: Black Love as Resistance** is a virtual, stay-at-home writing circle created for witnessing, nurturing, loving, liberating, reflecting, and expressing in community. Held in honor of **Black Love Day (February 13)** and the birthday of **Toni Morrison (February 18, 1931)**, this gathering celebrates love, intimacy, and passion as acts of resistance. We honor Toni Morrison as an ancestor whose work fiercely upheld Black love in its fullness — tender, complex, sacred, and liberatory. _Sacred Ink is not a workshop focused on polish or performance._ It is a communal space for truth-telling and presence. Through guided writing prompts, reflection, and optional sharing, participants are invited to write from where they are — whether arriving energized, needing rest, or winding down for the day.
