Sacred Ink: Black Love as Resistance
Sacred Ink is a communal writing space for witnessing, nurturing, loving, liberating, reflecting, and expressing. This virtual, stay-at-home gathering is designed to meet participants wherever they are. On February 15, we gather in honor of Black Love Day and the birthday of Toni Morrison, celebrating her as an ancestor whose work fiercely honored Black love in its many forms. Through guided writing prompts, reflection, and optional sharing, we will explore love, intimacy, and passion as acts of resistance. Come as you are. Bring your notebook, your breath, your tea or coffee, your quiet, your questions. This is a space to be witnessed and to witness others — rooted in Black love, memory, and care.
